A new view-factor code LORE is used to model the PEPR hohlraum and compare. A Johnson solid is one of 92 strictly convex polyhedra that is composed of regular polygon. As the name suggests, it can be constructed by augmenting a pentagonal prism by attaching a square pyramid ( J1) to one of its equatorial faces. It is calculated by multiplying its base area by its height. Prism has two equal parallel bases, the upper and lower base. This is known as the PEPR (pentagonal prism) hohlraum. In geometry, the augmented pentagonal prism is one of the Johnson solids ( J52 ). The volume of a pentagonal prism is the capacity that it can hold. However, if the problem will just mention pentagonal prism without specifying regular pentagon or right, it is most of the time a right regular pentagonal prism. The naming according to orientation of the axis is specifically used for right prism. The name of a prism is according to the shape its base and according to the orientation of the axis.
